Serving Those Who Serve Faith and Hope

On December 24, 2024, the Nurjahan Foundation had the honor of organizing a heartfelt meal distribution in Brahmanbaria, a place close to our roots and our hearts.

We served 200 people that day:
    175 orphan madrasa students
    25 of their devoted teachers

It was a peaceful winter day. The air was cool, but the warmth of the gathering was felt in every corner — plates being filled, heads bowing in prayer, children smiling shyly, teachers sitting side by side with volunteers.

These children are growing up in challenging circumstances, but with incredible resilience. Their teachers are guiding them with love and discipline, often with very little for themselves.

This event was not just about food — it was about respect, memory, and meaning. We do this in the name of Nurjahan Begum, our mother, whose spirit of compassion inspires every action of this foundation.

As we move forward, Brahmanbaria remains a place where we will continue to show up — with food, care, and intention. Thank you to every donor, supporter, and volunteer who made this moment possible.

  • A Meal Shared, A Memory Honored

In 2022, we did something that brought quiet joy to our hearts — we shared meals with over 100 villagers in a small rural community in Brahmanbaria.

This wasn’t just about food. It was about care. About dignity. About remembering someone who spent her whole life thinking of others.

This image is one of our favorite memories from that day. A kind man from the village, smiling as he enjoys a simple plate of rice. No filters. No fuss. Just a real moment, filled with warmth.

We started the Nurjahan Foundation in memory of our mother, Nurjahan Begum. Her compassion lives on in every plate we serve and every person we meet. She taught us that feeding someone is more than an act of charity — it’s a way of showing love.

Brahmanbaria was the first step. And we’re just getting started.

Thank you to everyone who believed in this mission. With your support, we hope to expand our reach, feed more families, and continue honoring her beautiful soul.
